Aunt Branda's Visit!

Branda got to come down this past weekend for a day to celebrate my and Grey's birthdays! We had a wonderful time with her!

Even though she could only be here for one night, we did a lot in 24 hours!

We grilled pizzas the day she came and she and the kids had a great time making their pizzas together! After the kids (and Joe) went to bed, she and I got a Starbucks coffee and visited.

The next morning, she took us to La Madeline's for brunch! Yummy!

When we got home, she gave Grey's birthday gift to him. Like Joleigh's gift, she made Grey a cute pencil/sticker box! Of course, Grey's was soccer because that has been his passion lately!

Branda, you did a great job on both boxes!

He also got to open a special soccer present! Hmmmm...what could be inside?

Shoes! But, what kind of shoes?

SOCCER shoes! Real soccer shoes! Awesome and they are very red! So cool!

Yep, those are some awesome shoes! Did you know that Grey could instantly jump higher, run faster, and kick the soccer ball further with these shoes! : )

Did I mention they were red...just like Aunt Branda's! Grey has always been fascinated with Branda's red shoes! Now he and Branda both have a pair! Of course, Joleigh wanted in on the action too...

...so she found her red shoes and wanted in on the picture!
