OK, so this isn't the best picture of Grey, but believe it or not, this is the third time I have tried to take a picture in front of his school and they have ALL turned out worse than this, but that's OK, I can now tell my story!
Grey has been going to a speech class two days a week, two hours each day! This program is set up like a preschool environment with a small group of children with similar needs. Grey has blossomed since he started this particular program! He loves going (even though you couldn't tell in this picture! HA!
ALSO...
Grey is in AWANAS (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed) at our church! He is a Cubbie. He loves being a part of this club and is doing very well! Each week, he has a Bible verse to memorize and every other week, he will receive a patch to add to his vest! Last night, he was awarded the patch he is holding along with his vest and handbook! Way to go Grey!
The verses he has now memorized are:
...God...loved us, and sent His Son... (1 John 4:10)
...all have sinned...(Romans 3:23)
...while we were...sinners, [Jesus] Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)
...all...He had made...was very good... (Genesis 1:31)
...God is truthful. (john 3:33)
Grey has also memorized the Cubbie Motto, "Jesus loves me!"
