Bobbie and Pop-Pop Came To See Us!!

This past week, Bobbie and Pop-Pop drove down to visit with us and help around the house!

We had a lot of fun this week! Starting off with...
...a picnic in the park!

I think I can figure this out!!!

Oh! And they flew kites!! : ) How fun!!!

We met a little squirrel - Bobbie fed her nuts and raisins!

Grey had fun! What a sweet face!!

And Joleigh too! Such a sweet smile!!

We also had fun at the house!

Joleigh is still putting pants on her head when playing outside! (As long as she isn't doing this at 25, I'll let her be!!)

Joe cooked beans and cornbread in the dutch ovens!

That meal was tasty!! Thanks Joe!

Bobbie spent some quality time with the kids talking and...

reading bedtime stories! Thanks Bobbie!

That was a great push, Pop-Pop!!

Gary has been carving wood and making beautiful works of art for the family!

He carved a Bailey for Joe!! Very nice work!

I think it looks just like the real thing! Sweet girl!!

Pop-Pop and the kids made homemade ice cream!

Of course the kids had to taste it first before supper!!!

One evening, while playing outside we heard an old plane fly above us. That is usually a signal for Joe to load up the family and hustle to the airport to see the plane close up.
So...

Joe took Gary and the kids to a nearby airport to see an old WWII airplane! Grey was very excited to see it land and take off!

The morning Bobbie and Pop-Pop had to leave, Joe made biscuits out in the dutch ovens - they were delicious!

We had a wonderful time! Thank you for a great week and the much needed help!!!
