This evening, we had to take Bailey back to the vet to repair her stitches. OUCH! Even though we kept her laying down and still (as best as a lab can sit still), the stitches from the incision in her chest still broke. So, the vet had to put her under again, to put staples in. I wish that would have been done the first time so that Bailey could now be in fourth day of healing. Now, we have to start over. She still is wearing the cone, plus a pink tank top to protect the incision on her chest. I also had to wrap a piece of gauze around her belly to seal up the tank so that she doesn't try to scratch her chest with her hind leg. She looks so very sad!
Poor girl!
