Decorating the Christmas tree has always been a treasured time for me and my family growing up. Everyone in the family would participate while sipping on eggnog and eating peppermint ice cream! I am creating a similar tradition with my kids. Now that they are older, both Grey and Joleigh are able to help and understand a little more what Christmas is all about!
Watching their excitement grow each day is fun to watch!!

Grey could not wait to help put the star on the tree!

After placing the most important ornament on the tree, we gave the kids their 2010 Christmas
ornaments! They had fun opening their first present!

Grey got a fisher-price airplane ornament exactly like the one our neighbor gave to him! (It was my neighbors son's airplane when he was little) Grey loves playing with it!
Joleigh got four little dolls...she has been loving and tending to baby dolls more often! It's very sweet to watch her take care of her babies! When she got the ornaments out of the package, she immediately started to rock her new babies!

Grey didn't want to put his ornament on the tree - he wanted to play with it! As of right now, it sits on his desk in his room. He loves it that much!
Joleigh loved hanging all four dolls on the tree, then took them off, then hung them again...over and over!

Sweet picture!
Joleigh's dolls!

Grey's airplane...and, yes, even the door opens and closes!

And, Joe and I put up our 10
th anniversary ornament. We bought it at Estes Park during our anniversary trip last September!

The tree is almost decorated...the kids have to hang their ornaments from their Christmas boxes tomorrow.
It really is a beautiful tree!
