Happy Birthday, Dear Joleigh

As you know, Joleigh's birthday was last Monday. Even though her party was canceled due to illness, we still had a sweet birthday party for her! She and Grey had so much fun!
Here are her lovely packages waiting to be opened!

Grey helped me make the cupcakes...can you find the two he iced? : )
(He ate those! - He made sure of that! )

Sweet sibling pic!

Joleigh really liked watching the candle glow!

After singing Happy Birthday, we tried to teach Joleigh to blow out the candle. She almost did it!

Oh, wow! Little does she know how much she'll like this little treat!

Now she knows! Yummy, huh!

Grey enjoyed his cupcake too!

Boy, oh boy! She loved her cupcake!

Joleigh really enjoyed opening the cards and gifts...she checked out each little detail before moving on to the next (that sounds just like her Daddy, doesn't it)! Even though we had three packages to open, the party took over an hour!

Grey picked out a card for her. Of course he picked put a cupcake card (we had just finished making the cupcakes before we went to Wal-mart to have him pick out a gift).
He was certain THAT was the card for her!
: )

And this is what Grey picked out for Joleigh! A purple SUV with a Mommy and Baby inside! There's also a little stroller that fits perfectly in the back!

This gift is from Aunt Elaine and Uncle Tommy...they gave her a crisp clean $2 dollar bill!

Gamma and Papa sent a gift in the mail! She loved her new pink hat! She had a super blast putting it on...

And taking it off! (Over and over and over and over! )
: )

Cute pic!

Joleigh also loved playing with the tissue paper! (which took a while with each gift)
: )

Along with the hat (by the way, where did Joleigh go), Gamma and Papa gave Joleigh pink striped overalls with a shirt, and pink cowgirl boots (John Deere of course)
Very cute!

She loved her boots!

Card from Mommy and Daddy!

Grey was very good and waited very patiently for Joleigh to open her gifts, but by the last gift (one hour later) he wanted her to HURRY UP!

Like all kids, Joleigh enjoyed the box and didn't even see the gift!

Oh, a bracelet is in there! How pretty!

Close up!

I think Joleigh had a wonderful first birthday! We love you sweetie!

Wait...there's more to come! Watch these sweet videos!
