A couple of weeks ago, Rhonda, Janet, Julie (all friends from teaching) and I walked in the Susan G. Komen Race! This year marked the 20th anniversary of the race and the 2nd race for us to walk with Rhonda .
Rhonda is a Survivor!
We had a good time and always enjoy being a part of a wonderful cause!

So many people at the walk will dress a particular way with their group. There were some elaborate costumes there! We
decided to reveal our true identities and wear crowns!

Over 30,000 people were in
attendance for the walk! Amazing!!!!!!

I thought it was so cool to see that the bushes near the starting line had beautiful pink flowers that had bloomed! So pretty!

We walked under a couple of bridges at the beginning of the walk and many people were standing and cheering for those that were walking!

Here's an example of just one cute t-shirt. There were many just like it!!!

Towards the end, the survivors walked down the Survivors Path where they received cheers and a pink carnation!

We love you, Rhonda!
